About Vivid North

Vivid North is a digital marketing blog. It’s mainly managed and run by me, James Wray. Though I’m not the only one. I work and play with a range of agency and freelance digital marketing specialists with a wide range of skills and interests. Many of these designers, developers, copywriters, SEO’s and social media specialists get involved in the blog.

The blog is aimed at anyone with an interest in digital marketing, and really anyone with a hand in marketing. After all, almost all marketing done in 2012 has an online or digital element.

Vivid North is equally for you whether you’re a complete novice or a seasoned professional. We’ll be posting about subjects including web design and development, search engine marketing (SEO and PPC), email marketing, eCommerce, social media, mobile marketing, online PR as well as ideas and strategies for delivering integrated marketing campaigns.

We’ll also try to  keep things succinct and simple. We won’t be going into great detail of Javascript code or posting constantly about Apple products. That’s not what Vivid North is about. There are plenty of other people doing that and often very well. Vivid North is for the marketer who might have to deal with 100 tasks in your daily work or play but who still wants to get the most out of marketing.

By day, Vivid North is digital account director at the fantastic (of course I’d say that!) Leeds based integrated marketing agency, Turn Key. By night Vivid helps small businesses with their marketing and helps with the sharing of knowledge on all things DIG.
